Wall Mount Dip Bars

Dip bars attach to any wall with 2x4’s spaced at 16” centers. Four 5/16 lag bolts secure the bars to the wall. One offset handle allows for 20” space center to center between the foam handles. This is an ideal distance for dips. The end of the bars are 17” from the wall to provide plenty of clearance.

The bars are designed to have one straight bar and one offset bar. Houses have studs that are mostly at 16" centers and occasionally 24" centers. The one bar is offset by 3 and 1/2" which allows your bars to be spaced 19 and 1/2" when attached to a 16" wall. You can reverse the two handles on a 24" wall and have a 20 and 1/2" spacing. On a 16" stud wall you would position the offset handle pointing outward and on a 24" stud wall the offset would be pointing inward.

Note: If you are not attaching these bars directly to studs but rather to a solid wall or beam, you may prefer to have two straight bars since you will not have a need for an offset bar. If this is the case, you can obtain two straight dip bars by ordering the wall dip bars and requesting two straight bars in the comment section of our shopping cart.
