EasyEffort Chin up & Dip Bars

Setup: Step One

Measurement Check

Before you order, check these three doorway measurements to see if you have a suitable door.

A) Open one of your interior doors (usually a bedroom or bathroom door) With a tape, measure the actual width of the door. Standard doors come in 2 inch increments. e.g. 30 inches - 32 inches. Pictured is a 30 inch doorway.
B) Next hook your tape measure on the inside of your doorstop. Measure from the back of the doorstop to the front of your door trim. The average measurement is 31/2 inches as pictured. This measurement can be plus or minus a 1/4 inch (31/4 inches - 33/4 inches)
If this measurement is 4 inches or more, the bar will not work. If your home is older than 50 years it is not uncommon to have a wider doorframe.

C) Last of all you will need 61/2 inches of clearance on both sides of your doorway opening. (On the opposite side that the door opens) You will notice the widest grips on the Easy Chin up bar extend past the 30 inch door opening. Notice you do not need this clearance on the Easy Dip Bar.

You need these 3 measurements, now check step 2..
