Please note: The UD 5 fits doorways from 24" to 32". This measurement is the doorway only not including the trim. The UD 5 is 37" wide so you will need that clearance in the hallway.

Attention! The UD-5 was designed for standard 4 ½" walls and overhead trim that does not exceed 4 " wide. It is not uncommon for older homes, military barracks and some condo construction to have 5 ½" or 6 ½" walls. Just measure your wall thickness from drywall of one room to drywall of hallway.

Standard 16" L arm for 4 1/2" walls and 4" maximum trim.		Custom 20" L arm for 4/ 1/2", 5 1/2", and 6 1/2" walls. 4" and 6" trim.
L Arms are supplied in pairs, only one is pictured.		20" L arms if ordered with your bar replace the standard arms.

Our 20" custom "L" arms allow you to use your UD 5 on standard thickness 4 ½ " as well as 5 ½" walls and 6 ½ " walls. In addition to this, these arms allow you to use your bar on standard trim above your door (4") as well as trim up to 6".

If you order custom "L" arms with your bar the cost is $9.95. Ordering the custom "L" arms separately the cost is $9.95 plus shipping and handling.

Standard UD 5

For those that like the feel of steel on their hands. We removed 23" of foam grip from the neutral and center portion of this bar. Same as the UD 5 in every other way. Not available with 20" custom "L" arms.
